Please wear an appropriate bathing suit and bring a towel.
Step #3 In-water Skills Lifeguard Classes:
This is a 2-day class where you will practice your Lifeguarding, CPR, AED, and First Aid skills Before you take a class you will need to finish the online blended learning portion. We will be continuously adding classes throughout the month of June. If you are not able to sign up for a class right away please keep checking back to see if more classes are posted. Please bring/ wear the following:
Please come dressed to swim! Ladies, we recommend wearing a one-piece or a sport-style two-piece. You will be performing mock rescues, swimming laps, and be in and out of the pool frequently. Please bring an extra set of clothes, two towels, and be cognizant of the weather! It often is chilly in the morning during the springtime, so a sweatshirt or sweat pants are great to have on hand. Bring with you water, and snacks to keep yourself fueled and hydrated. Also, please bring and wear sunscreen! If you get burnt the first day I promise you the rest of the weekend will be miserable! If you like to take notes, a notebook and a pen can be useful as well.
You will be given 30 minutes to an hour for lunch and we recommend you bring your lunch with you. (There are some restaurants around the club but you may not have enough time to go out for food.)
All certification classes cost $175 and can be paid via debit/ credit card.
If you need recertification we will be sending out more information about those classes shortly.
